- Health Data: We do not access HealthKit or collect any health data in version 1.0
- Location Data: We do not collect your location
- Contact Information: We do not access your contacts
- Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name or email address (UserProfile model exists in code but is never used)
- Sleep Data: Sleep tracking is not available in version 1.0
- Team Data: Team collaboration features are not available in version 1.0
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Primary Uses
- To provide core app functionality (habit tracking, mood tracking, analytics)
- To synchronize your data across your devices via iCloud (optional)

3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Local Storage
All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Your data remains on your device unless you enable iCloud sync.
3.2 iCloud/CloudKit Sync (Optional)
- If enabled, your data is synchronized to your personal iCloud account
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Apple's iCloud security
- We do not have access to your iCloud data
- Data is stored in your personal iCloud container

- All data is encrypted using iOS and iCloud security features
- We do not transmit your data to third-party servers
- Your data is never shared with advertisers or analytics services

4.2 No Team Features (v1.0)
Team collaboration features are not available in version 1.0. All data is private to you.
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Access and Control
- You can view all your data within the app
- You can edit or delete any habit, completion, or mood entry at any time
5.2 iCloud Sync
You can disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → HabitTracking. Disabling sync will stop synchronization but will not delete local data.
5.3 Data Deletion
- You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your device
- Deleting the app will remove all local data
- iCloud data can be deleted via iCloud settings
6. Children's Privacy
HabitTracking is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
7. Background Processing
HabitTracking uses background processing to:
- Update habit streaks automatically
- Synchronize data across devices
Background processing occurs only when necessary and does not collect additional personal information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Posting a notice in the app (for significant changes)
Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as you use the app
- If you delete the app, local data is removed immediately
- iCloud data may persist until you delete it from your iCloud account
- We do not retain data after app deletion
10. International Users
If you are using HabitTracking from outside the United States, please note that:
- Your data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure, which may be located in different regions
- By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data as described in this policy
